Mission Statement
New Jersey Adult Day Services Association’s Mission is dedicated to providing its membership with opportunities to educate, advocate and collaborate with regard to the development, enhancement and delivery of optimal adult day services.
Vision Statement
New Jersey Adult Day Services Association’s Vision is to expand adult day services within the health care continuum as a viable, community-based service recognized for its quality and cost-effectiveness; to obtain adequate funding for these services; and work in collaboration with other services for the elderly, disabled and their families.
Code of Ethics
Members of the New Jersey Adult Day Services Association in good standing shall, using a set of values, principles and standards to guide decision-making, maintain ethical conduct by:
- Following the regulations established by regulatory agencies and local, state and federal laws.
- Providing high standards of professional care, without discrimination, with respect for the autonomy, dignity, privacy and safety of the individual consumer.
- Fulfilling the Association’s Vision and Mission.
- Avoiding conflicts with colleagues by maintaining a sense of fairness, ethics and personal integrity, even though not necessarily obliged to do so by law, regulation or custom.
- Not using the Association for personal advantage.
